brand new!

i feel brand new, like the day after christmas and i received an amazing gift!

GOD has done an amazing thing!

i'm not totally mad at the past eight years that bush has been in office....sometimes we have to hit rock bottom and go through the fire in order for things to get better....that is what i believe was allowed to happen for this country to get where it is now and where it is headed.

i feel empowered,superb,ecstatic, like i can accomplish tremendous things...i've always been a positive and hopeful person(majority of the time)...i've believed in barack obama since i learned of him some 3 years ago....he has instilled more hope and faith within me...for the first time i feel okay with saying that i am an "american"...hey, i may even go buy an american flag...(i've never owned one, never had a desire to either)...

i know i'm rambling, as i often do...however, mere words cannot express the emotion that i am filled with.....

i should update my blog more often
i should not let the daily routine of life interrupt the things that i love to do most
i should let my dreams and creativity flow like a creek on a crisp spring afternoon
i should be still and meditate
i should write down my visions and hopes
i should live life as GOD intends
i should remain optimistic in a room full of pessimists
i should speak life into those that are seeking
i should shine light into dark places
i should make more cupcakes
i should jog more
i should read a psalm a day
i will do all that i desire in alignment with GOD's plan for me
i should, i will....
i am!

i'm sure yall have heard about the recent controversy of the allegedly racial comments that barack's former pastor,jeremiah wright made in the past. the media will make this situation more negative than it should be, i believe...don't rely on the media's commentary alone...check out the entire speech for yourselves...barack is an eloquent speaker, he is fair and just...he addresses this issue in an in depth and profound way! please view the speech in its entirety in your spare time (if you have not done so already)..pass it along, because i believe if people don't see the speech for themselves, they will conform to the media's viewpoint.... (some of the media are making positives about it.some are not)

(btw, a few years back, i had the honor of seeing jeremiah wright preach, he is amazing!)

america is in need of a change! i never imagined the day when there would be two minorities in the primary elections for president of the
u-s-of-a!
barack represents hope, his stance is change! i believe in his capabilities, he is a very genuine and distinguished man, a constitutional lawyer, a man that represents everything this country needs! this man knows what he is speaking of! his policies on affordable health care, the useless war and even media are all logical and fair. this man even looks presidential!
what a glorious day it will be when we have our first minority, an african american man as commander in cheif!
